Cellartracker note Dark amber color, on the nose toffeee, burnt sugar, caramel, some smoky notes..
Needed a bit of air to open up but then it became spectacular. Very refined, suave, aristocratic, fleeting; much less intense and cloying than the PX Gran Reserva from, say, Toro Albala, which jumps into your face and has the consistency of treacle, but so much more aristocratic and classy.
A pleasure to drink this wine which comes from a world that has disappeared.
