Kardos Furmint 2019

Furmint the famous Hungarian grape usually associated with Tokaja dessert wines.

 

Up until recently most dry furmint available in the UK has either been too expensive or too demanding. This is neither. Properly dry with appealing minerality, subtle apple notes and a clean 'nish.

 

Described (not by us) as a wine that captures a little bohemian wildness combined with the breeding of an aristocrat. Let’s not get too carried away!
