Enjoyed at my dinner party where I paired with ancho chile braised beef short ribs. I served two bottles. One bottle I decanted and stored in the wine cellar for 8 hours prior to serving and the second I decanted and stored in the wine cellar for 1 hour before serving. I poured the decanted wines into the glasses 30 min. before drinking. All the guests agreed the one decanted for 8 hours had smoother tannins and was more enjoyable but they were both outstanding! Conclusion: This one definitely benefited from decanting several hours! Taste was black fruit, tobacco & minerals.
